Fort Worth Wedding Photography- Callie & Ryan

Weddings

June 8, 2018

Callie and Ryan caught each other’s eye while serving on a mission trip through their church a few years ago. Their shared faith, love for others, and commitment to service drew each to the other and would eventually be the foundation they would build their marriage upon. Both Callie and Ryan are as genuine as they come— the type of people that make you feel like you’re the only person in the room when you’re talking to them. Naturally, they wanted their wedding to be intimate, providing the space for them to personally connect with each of their guests. The Dallas couple decided to marry outside the city at the Brik Venue in downtown Ft. Worth, TX, which was perfect for hosting their 150 guests. The two said their vows and promptly sang worship hymns with their guests as their first act as a married couple. After the ceremony, the couple tucked away for portraits while the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the enchanting Brik courtyard. The guests sipped mimosas beside an ivy-covered wall during sunset. Since the couple decided to serve breakfast for dinner, a mimosa bar was the perfect way to kick off the festivities.

Our favorite part of the day was during Callie and Ryan’s first look. The two decided to do a first look before the ceremony to ensure that they would have a moment to themselves, to savor it. They had been in the same building all day, but didn’t see each other until just before the ceremony that evening. As Callie approached Ryan and placed her hand upon his back, he turned around simply beaming as he beheld his bride for the first time. Callie was radiant and beaming as well, and as if he could not hold it in, he exclaimed, “I love you so much!” Needless to say, we were grinning ear to ear behind our cameras. Callie and Ryan, we are thrilled for you two—not only that you get to spend the rest of your lives together, but for all of the lives you will touch and bless together as a married couple.
