Even though it was rainy and cold on their wedding day, nothing could put a damper on Ryan and Cynthia’s excitement to marry one another. The rain provided a personal and intimate setting for their ceremony. With their guests nestled beneath a tent, Ryan held Cynthia closely under an umbrella and said “I Do” before a romantic candlelit fireplace. There were lots of laughs as the wedding party stood beneath umbrellas too, cheering on the couple as they shared their first kiss in the pouring rain. Cynthia later shared that she would marry Ryan in the rain all over again. We just love these two!
One of our favorite moments of their wedding day was when they exchanged letters before their first look. There are so many things that couples want to say to each other on their wedding day, but between the heightened emotions and hustle and bustle of everything going on it can be a challenge to find the right words to say. Ryan and Cynthia chose to write each other letters beforehand, ensuring that they had a chance to communicate their love for one another on their wedding day. They read their letters separately just before their first look, and while first looks are always special, this added something extra to an already sweet moment.
Cynthia is a professional event planner, so as to be expected, no detail was overlooked. She envisioned her fall wedding with navy, blush pink, lilac and deep purples. As always, Zuzu’s Petals completely captured Cynthia’s vision and created the stunning bouquets, boutonnières, and cake accents which tied everything together. Cynthia’s dress was absolutely breathtaking, with a polka dot overlay that everyone agreed was very “her”. In addition to the gorgeous details, Cynthia and Ryan wanted to treat their guests so they brought two of Fayetteville’s favorites by bringing in Hill City Popcorn for their cocktail hour and Wright’s Barbecue for dinner. Needless to say, everyone was thrilled. The couple danced the night away with their family and friends before exiting beneath a canopy of sparklers. It was intimate, genuine, and altogether lovely. Ryan and Cynthia, thank you for inviting us to share this day with you and congratulations on your marriage!
