Ben and Kali’s wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. These two grew up together, and in the process, they made a thousand memories that they wove into their celebration. These high school sweethearts dated throughout high school and long distance through college as well. There were countless sweet moments that made up their wedding day, like when Ben gave Kali a bottle of the perfume that she wore in high school– the one she wore when they were first falling in love. Or when Kali surprised Ben with his late grandfather’s wedding band, the one that he wore for over 50 years. Or when their cockapoo Dixie joined them during their first look, specially clad with a flower collar. This couple is so incredibly thoughtful, attentive to detail, and full of love for one another.
Kali and Ben worked with Jessica Kersey to design their wedding ceremony and reception, and Jessica captured their vision perfectly. The couple wanted to have an outdoor wedding at Hillside Ranch overlooking the rolling hills at sunset and the weather was absolutely gorgeous for their big day. Jessica and Kali worked ZuZu’s Petals for her floral design, which, in true ZuZu’s fashion, was stunning. The anemones and blue thistle provided subtle pops of blue and navy against her white and green bouquet. After their ceremony, the guests enjoyed Wicked Wood Fire Pizza from their food truck that parked near the cocktail hour location. The couple enjoyed their first dance and speeches from their loved ones at sunset as the sun over sprawling hills. Once the sun was down, DJ Jared Cornelius opened up the dance floor and Ben, Kali and their guests did not stop dancing until it was time to leave. The couple whisked away through a gauntlet of cheers and sparklers and made their way up to the honeymoon cabin on the property. Their day was heartfelt, breathtaking, and a ton of fun! What more could you ask for? We loved celebrating with the Harrisons and working with this incredible vendor team. Best wishes to the happy couple!
