Grace and Ben are people of deep faith and conviction and had been praying for each other long before they met. When they finally did cross paths their shared faith is what tethered them together, in addition to a few other things like mutual attraction and silly senses of humor. They knew that they wanted to honor God and each other above themselves throughout their relationship, and together decided to keep out anything that might compromise that goal. So the two shared their first kiss together at the altar, as a married couple, before their family and friends. Needless to say, it was a very special moment and their guests shared in their excitement!
Their wedding venue was nestled back in a cedar grove on a Texas ranch just outside of Dallas. The backdrop of deep greens complimented the woodsy accents the couple had woven throughout their reception, which made it feel as though you had stepped out of Texas and right into Colorado– a perfect environment for their celebration, which, considering the bride and groom, was sure to be filled with merriment. Grace was a member of the dance team at TCU while in college, and naturally, she and a few of her fellow dancers surprised the groom and guests with a choreographed dance to open up the dance floor. It was a tough act to follow, but the guests rose to the occasion and absolutely tore up the dance floor. Though the clouds rolled in unexpectedly and the rain fell, the party continued on– and both the bride and groom ended up being lifted off the ground and tossed in the air! The two ended the night with a private dance as their guests lined up to wish them well with a confetti exit. Their wedding was an absolute blast and everyone in attendance, including The Papes, were thrilled to celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Ben Robinson!
