There’s something really special about getting to see one of your friends fall in love, and something even more special about getting to capture the intimate moments of their wedding day. This wedding was a ton of fun for us to be a part of because Jamin and Ben have been friends for several years. Jamin has one of the most infectious laughs of all time, and seeing him so happy on his wedding day had us all grinning along with him!
Jamin and Megan got married at The Grand Ivory in Leonard, TX. It’s whitewashed barn with white shiplap walls and accented with beautiful chandeliers is perfectly Texan. The ceremony was held in a white open air pavilion, strewn with white church pews, all overlooking a nearby pond and sprawling hills. Their ceremony was intimate, with all the guests joining in to sing the couple’s favorite hymns as the newlyweds took communion beneath an arbor of greenery. It was a breathtaking moment, to say the least!
Their reception was equally intimate and beautiful! Three long banquet tables were lined with lush greenery to seat their guests, providing a welcoming space for everyone to visit. Catering from both Pecan Lodge and Steel City Pops, two of our favorite spots in Dallas, kicked off the celebration. After dinner and toasts, the two took the dance floor and their guests followed in suit ready to have a good time! Everyone danced the night away, singing along to the 90’s throwback playlist of DJ Connection. The entire day was intimate and fun and we loved getting to celebrate the Dalys!
