For JP and Felicia it all started over coffee. The two brushed shoulders at a local coffee shop and caught each other’s eye from across the café. Felicia was a barista working behind the bar, and JP had been a barista at that same shop, but had recently started at another coffee shop across town. So it wasn’t obvious at all when JP started conveniently coming by for coffee when Felicia was working, even though he didn’t work there anymore. One day he lingered after she finished her shift, waiting to walk her to her car and ask her out. Though that particular day she walked out of the shop in a group, and JP had to be quick on his feet, he did ask her out, she did say yes, and the rest is history. They couldn’t have known then, through a series of niceties over coffee purchases just how much they had in common. They would soon of their shared faith, values, creativity, love for people and of course, coffee.

Since JP and Felicia are highly creative, they wanted their engagement photos to be somewhere iconic but not cliché. So we made our way down to the Buffalo River and enjoyed a picnic together before our session together. JP and Felicia are a ton of fun and we were not surprised to find ourselves laughing throughout the entire session. It’s very evident that they not only love each other, but that they really are best friends. Our favorite kind of love! So happy for these two and cannot wait to shoot their wedding in November!
