If there is any one word to describe Grant and Amber it’s “loving”. Their entire wedding day was marked by their love— for their families, for their friends, for the Lord, and for each other. They care for their people and each other deeply, and their guests traveling from near and far to celebrate with them gave testament to that.
There were several special moments that made up their wedding day, like Amber’s first look with her bridesmaids who received her with exuberance, she was a breath-taking bride, or during her first look with her father when the two shared her grandmother’s handkerchief to wipe away their happy tears. But of all of the special moments throughout the day our favorite wasn’t until the ceremony was taking place, when Grant was standing at the altar and he looked out and saw his bride walking to the ceremony hall. The look on Grant’s face as he beheld his bride for the first time, smiling through tears, was moving, and as the two exchanged vows there wasn’t a single dry eye in the room.
After the ceremony their guests enjoyed a cocktail hour while the couple took sunset portraits, and they all entered the reception hall to dance the night away to the Royal Dukes band. We felt honored to get to be a part of their celebration, to witness their love for each other and their guests, and to capture their day!
